The European CLL Association (ECLLA) welcomes the Associação Portuguesa Contra a Leucemia (APCL) from Portugal as the newest member of our growing European network.

APCL is a national patient organisation supporting people affected by leukaemia and other haematological malignancies in Portugal. Its work focuses on improving the lives of patients and their families through information, patient support, advocacy, and initiatives addressing the social, psychological, and practical challenges associated with blood cancers.

Alongside its patient information and support activities, APCL develops programmes for people affected by haematological cancers, including social support and its Casa Porto Seguro, which provides accommodation for patients undergoing treatment and their caregivers.

We look forward to working together, sharing knowledge and best practices, strengthening the patient voice, and advancing equitable CLL care across Europe.
