ECLLA Club

The ECLLA Club is an exclusive programme available to ECLLA member organisations, designed to strengthen the knowledge, confidence, and capacity of CLL patient advocates across Europe.

Building Knowledge, Capacity and Connections Across the European CLL Community

As the landscape of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) continues to evolve, patient organisations play an increasingly important role in supporting individuals and families, providing reliable information, representing patient voices, and advocating for equitable access to care. The ECLLA Club was created to ensure that patient leaders have access to the latest knowledge, expert perspectives, and opportunities for peer learning.

Through a structured programme of educational sessions, discussions, and collaborative exchanges, members explore key topics affecting people living with CLL, including immune health, diagnostics, treatment literacy, access to care, psychosocial support, and emerging challenges facing the community.

More than a learning programme, the Club creates a trusted European forum where patient organisations can share experiences, exchange best practices, learn from one another, and develop stronger advocacy and organisational skills. By bringing together diverse perspectives from across Europe, the initiative helps identify common challenges, highlight innovative solutions, and strengthen collaboration between national organisations.

A core feature of the programme is its focus on practical learning and capacity building. Each session generates structured insights and resources that can be adapted and applied by member organisations in their own countries, helping to improve the quality and consistency of support available to people living with CLL.

What Members Gain

  • Access to expert-led educational sessions and discussions
  • Opportunities for peer exchange with organisations across geographic Europe
  • Increased knowledge of CLL, immune health, diagnostics, treatments, and access issues
  • Practical tools and resources to support local activities
  • Greater organisational and leadership capacity
  • Participation in a growing European community dedicated to improving outcomes for people living with CLL

Why It Matters

People living with CLL continue to experience significant differences in access to information, diagnostics, treatments, and supportive care across Europe. Strong, informed patient organisations are essential to addressing these inequalities and ensuring that patient voices are heard at local, national, and European levels. The ECLLA Club invests directly in the people and organisations working closest to patients. By strengthening knowledge, collaboration, and advocacy capacity, the programme contributes to a more connected, empowered, and resilient European CLL community.

Inclusive Participation

ECLLA recognises that many patient organisations rely on a combination of staff, volunteers, and patient advocates to deliver their activities and support their communities. To help build capacity across entire organisations rather than individual representatives, there is no limit on the number of participants who may attend Club sessions on behalf of a member organisation. We actively encourage organisations to involve team members, volunteers, and emerging leaders, ensuring that knowledge, skills, and best practices can be shared internally and embedded more effectively within local patient support and advocacy activities.
