ECLLA is proud to work alongside Prof Amanda Kracen, Professor of Psychology and Counselling Psychologist, whose expertise brings an essential perspective to our Medical Advisory Board.
At the ECLLA Policy Roundtable in Dublin this May, Prof Kracen highlighted a topic that is often overlooked in cancer care: the importance of psychological, social, and emotional support for people living with CLL and their families.
While treatments continue to advance, access to psychosocial support remains inconsistent across Europe. Prof Kracen reminds us that quality care is not only about treating the disease, it is also about supporting the person behind the diagnosis.
Her advocacy for holistic, patient-centred care reflects ECLLA’s commitment to improving both outcomes and quality of life for people living with CLL.
Thank you, Amanda, for helping ensure that patient wellbeing remains at the centre of the conversation.
