About us
Association of Cancer Patients in Finland was established in 1971. Our aim is to safeguard the best possible support for cancer patients and their loved ones during treatment and rehabilitation. The Association is active in patient advocacy and involved in national HTA processes. We emphasise the principle of patient-centred care and importance of patient involvement in decision making and research. The Association collaborates with other patient organisations, national authorities, health care institutions, cancer research projects, and other stakeholders. The Association is also coordinating the EUPATI Finland National Platform.
We maintain a comprehensive selection of patient guides, including a guide for people living with CLL. Our Association maintains network groups on Facebook – one of them for people living with CLL.
